Today's strip is what we came up with for the Webcomic Telethon. Naturally, they were hesitant to print it. I certainly don't blame them, and hold no hard feelings over it getting cut. And after seeing how many other people made pretty much the same exact joke (we're sharing a brain with Chris Crosby--terrifying!), I'm doubly not bothered by seeing it up there. And anyway, mine was best. Look at that Mike Myers! Spitting image, am I right?

I'm back, folks. Things have quieted down, and I finally have internet access. And a bed to sleep on! It's like Christmas. Or Kwanzaa, if that's your thing. Or maybe even a very brief Hannukah, without the chocolate coins and tops. At any rate, expect more strips soon, updated regularly and maybe even on time.

In case you weren't aware, Zoinks! Magazine, the first for-print newspaper to feature and promote webcomics, is coming back from the dead this fall. Usagi and I were privileged enough to be included in the first issue, back in 2001, and we're lucky enough to have been granted page space in the next two brand-new issues of the magazine. These will be strips that you won't find on our website; the only way to see them is to buy the magazine! While you're at it, buy a copy of that first issue to see what kind of dreck we were putting out at the time, will ya?

And you know what? When you buy a copy of Zoinks! anytime between now and September 16th, the publishers will donate a dollar to the Webcomic Hurricane Relief Telethon. These guys are all doing some good work, and it's an easy way to contribute to a worthy cause. Be sure to visit their site frequently to see what they've got planned.

Your conscience commands it.

Sorry for the lack of updates, everybody. I've recently moved, and am now without internet access, save for random, brief forays into the local Starbucks or Barnes & Noble, of which there are about 200 of each on this freaking island. That's right, I'm now a resident of New York City, the filthiest place you're bound to find in any First World Country, judging from my experiences here so far. The strip may be sporadic in the following weeks, as job hunting and apartment setting-upping has taken priority over all else, but feel free to bribe me with solid American currency to ensure swifter, funnier updates. Seriously.

We have this great Con strip planned, but Mofo went and disappeared before he could send it to me so stay tuned! He's moving again (I think Mangler found out his old address), so bear with us while he gets settled in. I do not come completely empty handed, though. No, sir. In the meantime, bask in the glory of the San Diego Comic Convention International! Actually, the pictures have less to do with the Con and more to do with the oddities within.

I realize that took a little while to get posted, but I got it in my head to write something where I could just throw new pictures in any time I wanted and wouldn't have to do any extra work. The problem is that this was a lot of work. Heh. Nonetheless, go easy on it. It hasn't been tested thoroughly. You may use the <> keys to navigate through the pictures (or simply the space bar to move forward).

It starts off a little slow, but I think by the end, everyone will have seen at least a couple of things that makes you glad you're you and not them. Enjoy!

(And I'll gladly take a heads up on any errors you find. Thanks.)

Sagi.
